KAYSCEND ELEVATES ON NEW SINGLE "VICINITY"
With the recent resurgence of the R&B songstress archetype within the grand scheme of popular music as a whole, it seems that talented, new Singer Songwriters are emerging from the dark corners of the Internet everyday. Today we introduce you to yet another budding Female Rhythm & Blues goddess by the name of Kayscend, by way of her velvety smooth new single "Vicinity."
Equipped with a bubble-gum Pop/R&B mash-up style of production, provided by Mike V, "Vicinity" is a luminescent and colorful record that Kayscend utilizes to highlight her bright and multi-textured melodies among her impressive songwriting skills. The song has all the qualities of a hit mainstream record that you would hear from artists like Ariana Grande, SZA or HER, with the genuine creativity and complexity only an independent artist can provide.
Kayscend is a Puerto Rican native of New York City, who transplanted to the greater Miami area as a youth. She's spent the last two years working and collaborating with well known artists in the Miami area, like Gorilla Tek, & working for Midtown Studios as an In-house Songwriter.
