EP: KLOUD PICASO "BACKWOODS & FRENCH FRIES"
Back in July, buzzing Omaha area artist Kloud Picaso released his impressively rugged, yet refined, Free Picaso EP. Now, just a few days shy of a month and a half later, he returns with more free smoke in the form of a thunderous, 10-track homage paying tribute effort dubbed the Backwoods & French Fries EP.
Drawing inspiration from Omaha's signature, iconic burger & shake shack Bronco's Burgers, Kloud Picaso mixes the moves of a Midwesterner with the vernacular and the swag of Southern Trap music to create an illustrious sonic vibrancy that exudes the finesse-driven, urban nature of Picaso's musical identity.
Standout tracks like "White Tee" & "Trapstar" very clearly illustrate the alignment between Midwest juggs and the trap while records like "Hit the RiRi" & "Drug Love, Pt. 2" provide a more melodic appeal rooted in experimentation.
This is definitely a project that is worthy of a full stream from front to back and certainly will hold its weight throughout Picaso's imminent come up. Stream the Backwoods & French Fries EP below & stay tuned for more music from the middle of the map. More to come after the DROP!
