O DAWG SPEWS FIRE VIA HIS NEW SINGLE "FORTRESS"
It's a given that there is an ever-widening space for Trap, Mumble Rap & Melodic-driven Hip Hop in the current Urban music landscape. However, it seems that no matter what, lyrical Hip Hop will always bogart its own space and thrive within its own structure in the industry. And that is exactly what Flatbush Brooklyn native O Dawg proves with his arduous new release "Fortress."
Impressively clocking in at just under three-minutes, O Dawg's "Fortress" delivers an unending barrage of vicious punchlines and elaborate bars over the 'Street Fighter' theme song reminiscent production provided by VCTRBRYCE. This track is a Hip Hop purists dream and establishes expert lyrical wordplay and composition at the forefront, rather than simply incorporating it for added zeal.
This serves as the first solo release from O Dawg since his recent Improvement And Profit EP dropped back in August. The Flatbush MC shares "Fortress" as a prelude to his upcoming collaborative EP with VCTRBRYCE titled B2.
