LIL PAPI JAY & PEEWEE LONGWAY "HOLY WATER"
Typically, when one speaks of holy water they would think of anointed h20. But Bay Area rapper Lil Papi Jay would probably tell you that he equates his fine jewelry with holy water as he and Peewee Longway flex their ice in the name of the lord in their new visual fittingly entitled "Holy Water."
Taking place in none other than the house of the Lord, with a cameo or two live and direct from the trap, the video for "Holy Water" is as much an overt stunt as it is a closed-handed prayer to the drip gods. Laden with ambiguous and somewhat subversive visual biblical references alongside Lil Papi Jay's ferociously catchy hook "Holy Water" lands somewhere between the footholds of the trenches and the dance floor of the club.
"Holy Water" serves as the first official release from Lil Papi Jay via his label Money Rich Entertainment/RBC Records/eOne and is slated for his upcoming debut album Sink or Swim. Considering the success of his previous record "Hennyway" featuring SOBxRBE's Yhung TO, coupled with the explosive potential of "Holy Water" Lil Papi Jay will have his hands full this summer as he readies himself to embark on a promotional tour before the arrival of his album in the fall.
