If you’re at all familiar with the coolest podcast in the world, No Jumper, spawned by infamous Youtuber Adam22 then you have probably seen his right-hand man Hakeem. Little did we know, though, Lil Hakeem does more than correspond for the No Jumper. In fact, he’s actually got some really hype bars and his new single “No Face” is a staunch example of why you should take him and his music seriously.
Since making his musical debut on Soundcloud a few months back under the alias NostalgiaV, Hakeem has created a mysterious and addictive sonic texture driven by his energizing approach to lyrics and melodies. Laced with production from Edclusive “No Face” personifies NostalgiaV’s fluid approach to composing tracks through the use of a catchy hook-bridge and relentless punchlines.
