MARCELLUS JUVANN "FAITH AIN'T EASY (LIVE)"
One of the main reasons DROPSMEDIA was created was so that undeniable, independent talents could have a platform to be celebrated, in addition to a place to tell their story directly to the listener, with zero bullshit to interfere. If we had to give an immediate example of the type of creative this platform heralds, right now we'd probably point the finger toward Houston-bred Rapper & Songwriter Marcellus Juvann and his recently release Carpe Noctem EP.
Released just under six months ago, the Carpe Noctem EP is a dazzling, reflective and emotion filled project that accomplishes in five songs what some major artists rarely capture within full length releases. In very obvious and deserved celebration of the standout body of work, today Marcellus Juvann shares a soulful, live version of the vibrant "Faith Ain't Easy" track from the EP.
Recorded in house of the MYTO Studios in Orlando, Florida, Marcellus and a full band including Maxwell Frost on the Keys, Daniel Chico on the Bass, Jose Rojas on the Saxophone and Sam Silva on the Trombone, breathe a new energy into the record with their personified and improvised performance of the record. This is definitely a very dope re-work of the track and an extra special treat if you are a big fan of the EP.
