Sporting a sound that is deeply rooted in a soothingly sultry, melodic & trance inducing sound, Smokeyy's Getting Old EP covers an immense amount of ground in the short four track spin time. Smokeyy's uniquely nasally yet crystal clear vocals act as a beacon throughout the project and help you grip onto the mesmerizing soundscape the standout production provides, which was handled by Smokeyy himself and his frequent collaborator Slayten.
This project is certainly one of a kind, and is the first release of the year for the collective 27 Club, that is home to Smokeyy & Slayten in addition artist Matt Rome, who insist they have ample releases planned for 2018.
