DROPS Spotlights is back with another exclusive release from a fledgling artist apart of our ever expanding talent development network. Today we present Midwest based MC Kai Gregory and his new atypical single "Why Think."
The 21-year-old rapper recently launched a re-branding effort in an attempt to push forward with a new and organic sound in hand. With his first single "NRVNA" he established the spacious and curious nature of his music while also boasting the ambitious nature of his flow and delicately complex bars.
Kai Gregory's new single "Why Think" picks up right where he left off and furrows deeper into the conceptual rabbit whole his music establishes. Equipped with footwork leaning, off kilter production the track shines between the movement inducing kicks & drum patterns and Kai's entertaining delivery.
