ALBUM: FAEDAWAY "SWORN TO FUN"
Artist and Producer Faedaway has been quietly self-producing a killer discography for himself in 2017. Following the standout debut project JustinTimberDrake he and fellow collaborator KAJ teamed up on, he releases his new solo body of work featuring guest spots from KAJ and Hollywood based recording artist Geminibitchslap dubbed Sworn To Fun.
The nine track project runs no more than 25 minutes and features a light, and playfully quaint aura that spans several genres including contemporary rap, new age R&B and Pan-African/Afro beat inspired rhythms and textures. The intro track "FaLLNFUN" immediately sets the tone for the project with a shining two-step inducing baseline and shimmering synths that provide a truly lustrous island vibe. Supporting variance is provided by modern Pop-Rap records like "Flexy" and the somber, instrumental tone of records like "CaN,TTRy" and the dance hall inspired vibes of "Rhythm."
