Continuing the build up hype to his new album, Memories Don't Lie, Torey Lanez released another single titled "I Sip" on Beats 1 radio this morning (with Zane Lowe. The #SWAVEY track follows releases "Shooters," "Skrt Skrt," and more recently, "Real Thing" with Future. This one takes on a more mellow, soul-searching, Henny-sipping vibe.
Lanez remarks about his vices, "I'm supposed to stop but I can't," several times throughout the track and adds he's been "sipping way too much drank" lately. Lanez shows he's human by admitting he's not immune to the woes of relationships, overthinking and overcompensating.
Although an official release date has yet to be set for Memories Don't Lie, fans should expect a good balance of Lanez signature melodic autotune and R&B trap.
Listen to "I Sip" below. More to come after the DROP.
