Lupe Fiasco is one of the longest running mainstays in the rap industry and it's because of how lyrically gifted he is in addition to his immense prowess of the craft and industry at large. Though he recently announced that he will not be dropping an album anytime soon so that he can focus on several other ventures including the new production company he just launched in China, Lupe love the kids and dropped off a series of loose tracks last week and over the weekend.
Including today's release "KJazz" Lupe released three records this week, "Black L Word" & "All While Doing A Rubix Cube One Handed." "KJazz" which was released via social media platform Twitter, is a two minute Jazz inspired track featuring only one verse, but that verse is straight bars.
On the other hand "Black L Word" was also released via twitter but feels a bit more like a fully developed record that showcases Lupe Fiasco's acrobatic flow slowly fluctuating over a Lo-fi sample driven beat.
And finally, "All While Doing A Rubix Cube One Handed" was a Facebook release and a shining one at that. The track goes on merely a minute but it is a minute of pure bliss.
Check out all three tracks below and stay tuned for more social media singles from the god, Lupe Fiasco. More to come after the DROP.
